hey people! i'm posting here again after a rather long hiatus, due to exams. during this break, i've studied and 'studied'(which means slacking)-- there is a difference. i'm so glad now that exams are over, and its holiday time! i really need the breather, its so hard to imagine that i've just completed my first semester at university. there will never be another first semester huh?
so right now i'm deciding what modules to take next semester. can't toss out the core modules: wish i could! one of the core modules is on Singapore Literature, and i'm really hesistant about this one! i have like zilch background in this stuff, and Singapore writers tend to write like obscure stuff about Singapore life, and its so difficult to write an essay on that! which is kinda weird considering that i'm a Singaporean myself... so maybe i should start reading my Catherine Lim and Amy Tan again....
December's gonna be a nice busy month for me... leading worship, being emcee for graduation ceremony, planning out stage decorations, teaching sunday school, making a pest of myself... haha, that last one is completely obligatory! now that exams are over, i can become a little pest to bother others. i'm gonna attempt to make a cake for my dad's birthday. ok, its not a
cake per se, more like a pie; but see, its unique! i'm gonna try to make this blueberry no-bake creamy pie, but if blueberries aren't available, then i suppose other berries will have to do. this requires the use of a food processor, and that means i need someone to teach me how to operate a food processor.
ok, Wild Empire is carolling on Saturday at Hougang Festival Market, (i forgot the time liao) and sunday, Thomson Plaza 2.30pm and Hougang Festival Market 5.30pm. i can't perform with them, but i'm gonna go down to support! you really dont' want to hear me sing now. besides being
disgustingly out of practice, i probably forgot most of the lyrics by now. so WE, strut your stuff this weekend! see you there! time for me to go now... bye people! i'll be back.
